The NC Homeowner Assistance Fund, or NCHAF, prevents mortgage delinquencies, defaults, displacements, and foreclosures for eligible homeowners experiencing financial difficulties due to the coronavirus pandemic. If financial hardships related to the pandemic have made paying your mortgage difficult, it is important to know your options to protect your home. Registration Is the First Step

The NC Homeowner Assistance Fund is close to exhausting its funding and will be closing soon. Because we are assessing remaining funds daily, we will not be able to provide advance notice of program closure. We urge you to complete and submit your application and all required documents today.

Registration is the first step in the process for receiving this assistance. Please enter your name, email address, and whether you are comfortable communicating in English. After that, click the "Begin Process" button to create your official account.
